Yesterday we woke up to a Winter Wonderland. There was so much wet snow on the ground which caused chaos for the morning commuters. I got Mateya to the bus on time but she told me after school that it took them 2 hours to get to school. About 10 minutes after Cyril left for work he called me and said traffic was at a stand still and that he was coming home. It still took him 20 mins just to get back. He took the whole day off and so we played in the snow and made a snowman. It wasn't very cold outside but there was tons of wet sticky snow. By 11 am the sun was out and things were melting fast. At about 4 pm dark clouds rolled in and it started to snow again. It was heavy and thick but luckily it only lasted about an hour. It's amazing how the weather can change so quickly. It's even going to be shorts weather by the weekend! CRAZY!!

I'm glad that it was Calgary that got the snow, not us. When I told that kids about it, Devin said that it was weird because it was summer time. Little does he know that it is only barely spring!!!!!!!! The boys have already worn shorts to school and to cubs.
