So my husband and kids went to Mexico for a week in July without me. Cyril's parents promised to take the girls on a trip but were unable to bring Holton because he was still too young. Cyril felt bad that Holton was missing out so he decided to take Holton and tag along. They had a really fun trip even though they all missed not having mommy around. (I had a lovely, relaxing time at home being able to sleep in, watch Oprah, not worry about laundry and dishes and cooking and driving kids to their various activities, and I had tons of fun at a Family reunion but I did miss them all very much!)
The weather was hot and rainy for the first several days but by the end it was full sun and scorching hot. There were 3 different pools to go to within the resort and since Cyril and his parents didn't want to venture outside of the resort, the kids spent everyday at the pools or the beach. A perfect holiday for them....no site seeing!
I am so grateful for my in-laws who do so much for my kids. They are so happy to spend time with them and enjoy the chance to do these kind of things before they get too old. We have all built so many great memories together!
