Holton is 10 Months old!

On Monday Holton turned 10 months old!

He is such a wonderful baby who loves to smile, laugh and growl at everyone. It is so fun to see how much he learns and grows each day. In the last couple of months he has learned to clap his hands, point at things, give a high five (daddy taught him that) and wave bye-bye. He is still not crawling but can get around on his tummy, using his arms and legs to push forward, I think it's called a combat crawl. It is fun to watch him because the girls never did this. His new favorite thing is to hold my hands so he can walk around. He loves to explore our house and see all the things he can't get to on his belly.

Since we have had some warm weather we have gone to the park several times. Holton loves the park but not because of the swings and slides, it is the rocks! He loves to sit and throw rocks and when I'm not looking, eat them. (once again I don't think the girls really did this). I love having a boy and feel truly blessed to have such an amazing little guy in our family.

Here a some pictures of Holton over the past few months. Enjoy!

Easter Fun!

We had a wonderful Easter in Raymond with our family. The kids all had a blast decorating Easter eggs and then rolling them. They also enjoyed an egg hunt at Grandma's house. We also had a nice visit at the cemetary to see Grandpa's grave. It is always fun to go to Raymond and spend time with family. Happy Easter to everyone!

A Day at Chuck E Cheese's

We stumbled across the brand new Chuck E Cheese's last month and decided to take the kids there as treat for all the trailer shopping they had to endure. We all had so much fun. Holton was amazed with all the lights and sounds and enjoyed the rides he went on. Here are a few pictures.

Standing Up.

Holton is now standing up around furniture. He loves this new perspective on life and sometimes gets frustrated when he can't be standing. He is still not crawling but can move around on his belly quite well (mostly backwards). It's so fun to see him grow and move around but I know it won't be too long before he is getting into everything!

School Choir Festival

A few weeks ago Mateya was able to sing with her school in a Elementary School Choir Festival which took place at Southcentre. There were 18 schools throughout the city that participated which included the grades 1-4 from Mateya's school. Ten of the schools were then invited back to sing again on Saturday in the finals and to be recorded on a CD. Mateya was very excited when she found out her school got to go. Since it was on a Saturday Daddy, Grandma Moxley, Sherilyn and Mckenna and Uncle Tran came to watch her as well as Mommy, Jaidyn and Holton who also saw her on the Tues. It was really neat to see Mateya singing on the centre stage at the mall. She said she had fun and wasn't even nervous! Congratulations to our future star!!
